These terms cover your use of sudoku.ie. By using the site, you agree to them. We have kept them short.

Who runs the site

sudoku.ie is run from Ireland. You can contact us at [email protected].

Free to play

sudoku.ie is free. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to pay.

Using the puzzles

You are welcome to play, print and share the puzzles for personal use and for classroom use. Teachers may print as many copies as they need for a class, and parents may print them for their children.

Please do not:

• scrape or copy the puzzles from the site using automated tools,
• republish the puzzles, in print or online, for commercial purposes,
• present the puzzles as your own work.

If you would like to use our puzzles in a publication or product, write to us and we can talk about it.

Embedding the puzzle

You may embed the sudoku.ie widget on your own website or blog, as long as you keep the link back to sudoku.ie that comes with it.

The leaderboard and fair play

The daily leaderboard is for fun, so please play fairly. We may remove times that are not plausible, such as a Saturday Expert solved in a few seconds, or entries that appear to come from automated tools. We may also remove or change nicknames that are offensive or that impersonate someone else. These decisions are ours to make.

No warranty

We work hard to make sure every puzzle is correct and the site works well, but we provide sudoku.ie “as is”. We cannot promise that the site will always be available, free of errors, or that your progress will never be lost. Your progress is stored in your browser, and clearing your browser data will remove it.

As far as the law allows, sudoku.ie is not responsible for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Your privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our privacy notice.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
